The Internet of Things (IoT) has simplified communication across all devices. By leveraging IoT, Enetics has made it much easier not only to record data, but also to view the data, securely, from anywhere in the world.
Data Management
EneticsEDGE allows configuration of the RTU's, including:
- Sensor sample rate
- Cellular call-in frequency
- Measurement units
- Measurement alarm thresholds
- Pipe diameter and gas density (GasComm only)
Visualization
EneticsEDGE offers graphical and tabular visualizations of data. Data compression lets you average the data, or view raw data for high resolution. Templates allow you to save and load configuration and measurement options, so you can see your data faster. Graphs can be downloaded as images to embed in a report, and tables can be downloaded for further processing. Standard report generation is also provided.
Secure Communications
RTU's communicate with EneticsEDGE using a proprietary protocol over the LTE Cat M1 cellular network. All data telemetry use AES-128 encryption algorithms, and data remains encrypted in the EneticsEDGE cloud database. EneticsEDGE is hosted on Microsoft Azure, so Enetics can leverage advanced cloud technology, including security, data redundancy, and failovers.
API's
EneticsEDGE allows for the use of external API's, so you can import hosted data into your own system for further processing.
Data Hosting Packages
Enetics provides two and three year data hosting packages. Each plan provides access to the EneticsEDGE User Interface software for an unlimited number of users, SQL cloud database storage, and transparent-to-the-user cellular data telemetry. Enetics RTUs ship with activated multi-carrier SIM cards, allowing the RTUs to use the strongest signal available at any time, regardless of the particular cellular carrier.
