The LD-1200 series NILM recorders are non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) recorders. Collection of load power data occurs at the beaker panel location (For installations at the revenue meter socket, please refer to the LD-1120 NILM product which is provided in a 2S meter base enclosure).
The LD-1200 is factory configured for 60Hz residential or commercial single phase (L1-N, L2-N) operation. The LD-1201 is similar, but is factory configured to operate at 50 Hz. Both are provided in a NEMA 4X weather proof enclosure.
The LD-1203 is a three phase (Phase A, B, C – N) NILM recorder provided in a weatherproof NEMA 4X enclosure. Please specify your preference for 50Hz or 60Hz operation when ordering.
Depending on the model selected, these recorders sample up to three phases of residential or commercial power and computes individual watt and VAR values. The individual appliance or load turn-on and turn-off states are determined by identification of power transitions. The date and time of each on/off event along with the voltage and calculated real and reactive powers (watt, VAR) are recorded in non-volatile memory. The LD-1203 also computes and stores the whole-building watt-hour and VAR-hours for each recording interval.
Recorded data can be collected on-site or remotely using multiple methods of communications. Collected data is then processed using Enetics' SPEED™ algorithms, which reconstruct the energy consumption interval data for each major appliance in the residence.
