Flexible SmartCT™
Flexible current transformers from Enetics are available in four conductor diameter sizes ranging from 4 to 16 inches and cover a wide span of operating currents. These CT’s have many advantages over iron core CT’s including weight, size and bandwidth. Flexible CT’s cannot be damaged by over current.
Enetics has designed a special current integration circuit into each flexible CT that allows factory calibration settings to travel with the CT. This ensures that these CT’s are truly interchangeable from line to line, and also reduces the phase error to nominally less than 0.5 degrees.
Applications include energy and PQ monitoring, energy curtailment, building energy management and sub-metering in addition to general current measurement, recording and trending.
