LMS-5700 PowerScape Software

The LMS-5760 and LMS-5770 software packages are part of the PowerScape Energy Mangement System and consists of two major components: the SQL database and the charting/reporting software. The database automatically aggregates data collected from one or more designated sites. Data is easily retrieved to generate the required charts and reports. For user flexibility and extensibility, charts and reports are generated in Microsoft Excel. The Excel worksheet data file can then be exported in various formats and shared among users. Zooming and panning is available on the macro generated Excel charts. A key advantage of using an SQL database and Excel is that it is an “open” system, you are not locked into any suppliers’ proprietary software. You can retrieve any data available from the database and/or use the Excel data to generate additional charts and reports.

The PowerScape software ships with Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) database. The MSDE database has a 2GB limit per database. Optionally, the system can be upgraded to use Microsoft SQL Server eliminating the 2GB size limitation.

	Enetics PowerScape software is also used to program and manage PowerNode recorders, and to view real-time recorder readings and communications status information. It is even possible to view real-time readings or aggregated power data from a user defined group of PowerNode recorders. The LMS-5760 PowerScape software is designed for single user functionality, while the LMS-5770 PowerScape Enterprise Software (network version) permits multiple users shared access to a single database.

Software Downloads	Description
PowerScape Single-User Edition 2.87	Latest release of the Enetics' PowerScape Software. A multi-user version is available. Contact Enetics for details.
Excel Macros 2.12 (Right-Click and select Save As*)	This is the latest version of the Excel Macro file. You must install the most recent version of PowerScape prior to installing these macros.
MSDE Installation (24 MB) 1.0 (Not currently available for download. Please contact Enetics directly.)	MSDE is the PowerScape database component. It is not required for PowerScape to operate, but some features will not be available without it.

* Note: The Excel macro file will not install correctly if you just click on the Excel Macros link to download the file. This is because Excel will open the file inside of Internet Explorer, and the toolbar launch buttons will not get properly registered with Excel. If you are using Internet Explorer, you must first save the Excel file to you machine before opening it in Excel. To do this, right-click on the Excel Macros link and select Save As. Then, choose a location to download the macro file on your local machine. Open this file using Microsoft Excel to properly install the Enetics Excel macros. Other browsers should not have a problem downloading the macro file directly.
