Substation Monitoring
 In
cases, power quality problems are suspected of coming from a
specific substation, the portable PowerNode
recorder can be used to capture events and harmonic information.
It is sometimes necessary to monitor a feeder from an unmonitored
substation in response to a customer complaint. The weatherproof
portable PowerNode recorder can
be left at the substation for as long as necessary to record power
quality and power consumption information, and then moved at will to
investigate other problems.
Related Products
Many distribution substations are currently not monitored. The
LM-5410/5415 can be used where the need is simply for temporary
monitoring to pinpoint a possible problem. The LM-5510/5520 can be
used for permanent monitoring. These units all make excellent
substation recorders by virtue of their low cast and power
flow/power quality recording capabilities. |
